Our church had its fall festival tonight and Kate went dressed as a bumble bee. If I may say so myself, she was super cute!!

Alternatives
When the batteries go dead in the swing and you have a sleeping baby that is not supposed to be awake for another hour - you gotta do, what you gotta do - so I rigged up the swing with some string. Jason came home at lunch and couldn't stop laughing and took the picture below. Last week we found our hands. Now all of the sudden Kate doesn't really want her pacifier she just wants to eat her hands now that she can find them on a more regular basis. We also ate our first toy. Now that her hands can find their way to her mouth better, it just means that the toys we put in her hands also find their way to her mouth now.

One big happy family!
We had a blast this weekend with all the cousins in Birmingham. Getting three little babies awake and happy at the same time to take pictures was quite a feat but we did get some cute photos finally. Hannah is 5 months old, Bryce is 4 months old and Kate is 2 months old. Its funny how a few weeks now makes a HUGE difference.
Here are my parents with all of the grandkids.

My Cousin Hannah
So we finally got to meet Hannah! Jennifer and Hannah flew from Waco to spend a few days in Birmingham. Hannah is 5 months old and is busy, busy, busy. Hannah is constantly rolling over and playing with all her toys...it is really fun. She was really cute because she was very aware of Kate but I can't say that Kate was too aware of Hannah - that will change in a few months though and they will best of friends. Tonight Bryce comes down from Atlanta and all the cousins will be together. But it will be 2 on 1 so Bryce get ready to be outnumbered by the girls.

Halloween, Chruch and Friends
We are geared up for Halloween...we have the cutest costume which you will see pictures of later on and I picked up these Halloween pajamas at a consignment store! I really can't wait for Christmas and all the themed pajamas and outfits I will be able to dress her in then!! This past Sunday was our first trip to church. Besides one small outcry Kate did really well. But she will have to start going to the nursery because I didn't pay a lick of attention to the sermon because I was watching her the whole time in anticipation of her waking and possibly crying.
Here are some more pictures of Kate's friends. Luke is in the middle (born a week after Kate) and Bella is on the right (born end of June). My high school girlfriends and I try to get together once a week for dinner and hang out...it really is fun to have all the babies there too.

Two Month Check Up
We went for our two month check up today.
Weight - 11 pounds 6 ounces
Height - 23 inches
Head - 15 inches
The doctor said that Kate looked great. We are going to try some new medicine and see if it helps with her reflux. Kate still likes to spit up half of what she eats, however you can clearly see that is hasn't affected her weight gain!

Fun in ATL
Jason is in Philly this week so Kate and I packed up and drove to Atlanta to visit with my brother Michael and his family. We are having so much fun...This is Kate's first smile caught on camera!! It is also her first time in the bumbo seat too.
Bath time with Uncle Michael is so fun! However, I think Michael found that maneuvering a 4 month old and a 2 month old to be very difficult. (Can you tell which baby goes with Michael by only looking at skin tone?!)
We ran lots of errands and went to a fair (check out On Location with Bryce to see pictures of that soon) so we were pooped by the time we got home.
