A little update on Kate. I haven't said this before because we aren't really potty training but I did buy Kate a little potty and she has successfully gone tee-tee in it everyday. But by no means are we ready to cut the cord and not use diapers. We got a little one for upstairs and then we have the one that is just the seat that fits on the regular toilet for downstairs. Kate is at a fun stage where she is very aware of what is going on and you can see that by how she plays. She loves to take a wipe and a diaper and act like she is changing the baby dolls diaper. And today I found this....
Kate was potty training her baby doll. I turned the corner and saw her in the half bathroom telling her baby to "go tee-tee." I couldn't control my laughter!

I'm here! I follow your blog faithfully and LOVE to read all about what is going on with you guys!
Hannah went through the potty stage...now she moved on. But today I did buy her some panties just to try and jumpstart things. We will see how that goes.
YEAH that Kate is starting the process though.
Hey Laura...I've been a google reader follower since you gave me your blog address many moons ago...I think I even commented to you in the past??? Anyway, she is such a cutie and I love watching her grow! Honestly, I am also keeping my eye on your site closely waiting on you to make an announcement about a sibling??? HEHE...you wanted honesty, right!
Hey there girlie! I totally subscribe to your blog on my google reader!!
pick me, pick me! you know I'm a readin'----Stirling was and is the SAME way!
We put Elmo on the Potty daily. And we change his diaper...Hysterical. Isn't it a fun age...challenging, but fun. Anyway...I'm reading!
I'm new but here :) Luke learned by going outside... but he's a boy so i'm not much help. But maybe by the time Miss Lila Reese is ready you'll have some great tips for me!!
I started a blog too! mamaseasonings.blogspot.com. i love comments, they are like little presents.
You know I love you and your little miss! Your blog is precious...keep up the good work : )
I love the things you make and am so totally jealous of your skills! Kate is adorable! I may have already told you this but we did the 3 day potty training method and it was a rough 3 days but worked quickly.
What a fun surprise! I'm impressed with Kate. All Averi want's to do is use her little potty as a stepping stool to climb up on things....yikes! I learned the first time around not to stress. Averi might be the first one to enter kindergarten not potty trained:)
I love your blog. It always makes me smile :)
Count us in...on the blog contest, but not the potty training. We're NO where near even beginning to try that process.
Hey girl, I was just looking at your blog earlier today. I can't even remember where I found it. We drove by your house the other day and I am so jealous, it is adorable! If I could live anywhere in Birmingham, it would be behind God's House on that street. Is Kate going to God's House next year? You would love it, it is great!! Anyway, I have been meaning to email you about the shower for A and B. Keep me posted=)
I want you to make something for Maggie Rae!! I read your blog all the time!!! Put my name and Maggie Rae's in the bucket! Your so sweet!

Hi Laura! We have never met, but I have actually met Jason before. My father-in-law is Jim Bunn and he works with Jason. I have come across your blog several times and I keep meaning to comment. When I met Jason back in the Spring he talked about Kate - she is so cute! I love how she is potty training her baby doll! Jim (my husband is also Jim) and I have a 10 month old and I can't wait for to start talking more - I am sure she is going to keep us laughing! :)
I saw the things you made for Kinley the other day. I was going to call you to see if you would make some things for Cooper! I hope we win. :) I love the potty training stage. Kate is so cute potty training her doll.

Ooooo! We'd love anything made by you! I check your blog regularly:) Callahan is experimenting with the potty. That means we have potties in every bathroom, but we're not hard core. She may be ready, but with Evans arrival, I'm not! We'll see what the next couple months bring.
Love your blog...love your sewing...and your daughter and I have the same name...so what's not to love! ; )
